INTRODUCTION TO PAINTING SERIES

AN INTRODUCTION TO PAINTING THROUGH ABSTRACTION
Have you thought about trying your hand at painting? This class is for you!
An introductory class exploring painting in a relaxing, non intimidating atmosphere, while allowing for personal expression of creativity and visual art!
Learn about creating visual art using various mark-making & painting techniques, use of color and composition, as well as experience various tools and products! Create your own abstract art while getting comfortable with various painting mediums and color! You will have the opportunity to complete a painting, or two, that you will be excited to hang in your home!
This class is designed to prepare a new artist for further exploration with various painting media.

• INTRO TO PAINTING 2 - ACRYLIC
AN EXPLORATION OF ABSTRACTION MOVING TOWARD REALISM
Join us for a relaxing class exploring creative painting!
This class will provide a new artist with an experience to get comfortable with paint & color! Explore a series of fun and creative methods using acrylic paint with various tools on several different surfaces. A strong study of color theory and composition will provide the thread to successful pieces of artwork. Learn how to create artworks that use abstract techniques that will prepare you to paint from simple real images. A non-intimidating way to advance your painting techniques, giving a strong foundation and confidence to advance into many painting styles.

AN EXPLORATION OF ABSTRACTION MOVING TOWARD REALISM
This class will provide a beginners experience to an exploration of watercolor painting as an expression of creativity and visual art! Experience a series of fun and creative methods unique to watercolor paint. A strong study of color theory and composition will provide the thread to successful pieces of artwork. This loose and creative class provides a non-intimidating approach to watercolor painting, giving a strong foundation and confidence to advance into many painting styles.

EXPLORE THE FUN OF COMBINING MEDIA
For the artist who has a little experience and a desire to play with new ways to create! Watercolor, acrylic, pen and ink, collage, and just a few ways we will explore some interesting ways to work. Both abstraction and loose realism will be explored.
