My professional history is rooted in design. Beginning with a BFA in Design, I spent the first part of my career in Graphic Design. Later, I chose to teach while developing my studio work, which led to a decision to earn a Master of Arts Degree in Visual Studies. At present, I teach various Studio Art courses in the Green Bay/Fox Valley area. My studio is based in De Pere WI, where I strive to produce an ongoing variety of contemporary abstract works.... have fun, experiment, play and enjoy the creative process!

DRAWING BASICS!

Getting comfortable! A Three Session Event

Learn to draw what you see!!!

A 3 session class getting comfortable with the basics of sketching and drawing. From object studies to landscapes, sketches to drawings, learn to enjoy the process of recording what you see. Various drawing tools & styles will be introduced.

Always presented in a fun, non-intimidating way!

THURSDAY FEBRUARY 5, 12, 19. 1-3 PM.

GETTING COMFORTABLE WITH COLOR

ONE SESSION EVENT.

Understanding color theory will help you make great decisions with any style of art you like to explore. Learn the basics of color interaction, value and light, color mixing, & psychology! We will play with color and discover the possibilities and impact of great color choices. Always presented in a fun, non-intimidating way!

FUN WITH WATERCOLOR - Try It!

ONE SESSION EVENT.

A one day try it workshop! Play with the fun of water and color!!! You will leave with a painting you will be happy to hang in your home! Come & play… See where it will take you! Always presented in a fun, non-intimidating way!

OIL & COLD WAX

ONE TIME SESSIONS WITH LIGHT INSTRUCTION/COACHING. A CHANCE TO INERTACT WITH OTHER COLD WAX ARTISTS AND DEVELOP YOUR WORK!

A morning to expand your Cold Wax painting techniques. This workshop is for those already familiar with the process. Techniques will be reviewed, support/coaching will be provided. Bring your own supplies, build on an unfinished pieces, or start a new one. An opportunity to collaborate and receive inspiration!
